Community Arts Crusaders
Friends of Alachua County Public School Elementary Arts Programs Fund believes that arts education is critical for the total education of all children and provides cultural opportunities outside the art and music classrooms to promote the artistic growth of our community's youth. The Fund helps to support quality elementary art and music education programs for all elementary students in Alachua County Public Schools. FAN is managed by the Gainesville Community Foundation.
Rocket for the Arts is a program that is in direct response to the growing need of funding for the arts within the school district as well as in the community. The program aims to enhance the lives of our community's youth by building awareness of the need for quality art programs and providing exposure to artistic experiences. Rocket for the Arts seeks to produce resources for visual and performing arts programs within Alachua County, promote the arts and art education, and provide materials, research, and support for the next generation of artists.
