Yopp! inc. believes that educational opportunities in the arts enrich the lives of the participants through experiences that are both educational and therapeutic. Our programs provide participants with the opportunity to experience the visual and performing arts in a dynamic, meaningful and personal way.

Yopp! inc Events

Our mission is to support artistic creativity at a grassroots level, understating the global impacts this type of support can produce. Yopp! Inc. is an exhibiting arts organization through its involvement in hosting and contributing to festivals and community cultural projects and events. Our exhibition schedule has included 18 Plein Air events since our inception in 2008. We annually exhibit at the Thornebrook Art Festival, LifeSouth's Operation Santa Delivery and the Downtown Spring Arts Fest as well as with many fundraisers and community events. We have produced and exhibited at Where the Sidewalk Ends: Family Arts Festival for the past three years as a local recognition for Youth Art Month. This festival brings hundreds of artists of all ages together to recognize the importance of the arts in the development of the youth in our community. It showcases youth artists from 20 counties in North Central Florida.

Yopp! Inc. also has produced a number of community performances including the play, Birth, by Karen Brody to raise awareness, support and funds for maternal care and families, The Tales of Christmas and The Untold Stories of the Three Little Pigs, both written by local playwright L'Tanya VanHamersveld of which were youth community productions. We have produced and presented over 10 productions since we began in 1998.

In addition, Yopp! Inc. operates the successful arts program; Gainesville Creative Kids. This arts program is a successful multi-session, morning and after-school opportunity for students to express themselves in the performing and creative arts.
